It sounds too good to be true like that PC cleaner bullshit back in 2012 or something and i want to know if anybody here uses it and if not can u tell me if i'm missing something. MCAfee is like 99/yr and if i can i want to avoid paying that again
/wsr/ niggers won't help me
Just use Common Sense 2017 anon.
no, it's malware which installs CP on your computer every time it does a scan.

Yeah but i visit some pretty fucked up sites on the regular like liveleak and some types of porn are known to leave malware. Just want something to protect
Linux distributions don't have that problem.
antivirus is literally all malware that spies on you
all of it is too good to be true
>>35029905
Yes its legit but AVG hasn't been good since 2010, these days it looks and acts like one of those fake AV's.
Just download malwarebytes and call it a day.

>installing antivirus
it's keep irritating when pirating some shjit
so i don't use it
if i get a malware like torotux shit i use antimalware
but avg pc tuneup are decent.

consumer anti-viruses are still a thing?
last i heard most of it devolved into marketing malware.
just install jubuntu or something

Isn't unbuntu an OS? I saw some news bullshit about a girl in college who bought a computer and it had unbuntu on it instead of windows

>Isn't unbuntu an OS? I saw some news bullshit about a girl in college who bought a computer and it had unbuntu on it instead of windows
ubuntu yes
if you're not sub 90 IQ you should have no problem using the INTERNET and what not.

I mean desu i'd rather have windows and download some other free virus protection softwawre than download an entire new OS on my computer, I still want to run steam and chrome and shit regularly
>>35029905
yeah it's great if you don't mind the adware popping up asking you to buy the full version all the time while you're in the middle of doing shit
There's really no antivirus out there that isn't also adware. I use Avast and every once in a while I'll get a popup about upgrading or some shit. Unless you pirate shit just use common sense, and disable JavaScript.
