Empire, went kinda generic for my first run. Wasn't expecting much, hadn't heard a lot about it but it's only 12 bucks on HumbleBundle. I think it's my favorite total war game though, the battles are way cooler than they've ever been thanks to the fantasy elements, and freedom of not having to confine to a historical setting and era really felt like it gave CA some breathing room in terms of creative integrity

What race do you recommend I play next? It's a shame they made Chaos $9 or whatever it was, perhaps I'll pick it up soon.

My first game was with vampire, quite enjoyed it. But I preferred dwarf.
