Back when the average person had no grasp of science, it was more common to find folks who genuinely believed in spirits and imaginary ghost/ghouls/Angels/nymphs

Im a God and I made those things to reaffirm my world and do things like cook for me. They're very real, but to make them you'll have to gather up sacred energy from doing sacred things like make art or hunt in Australia and then you pray to make a doll and give it formulas/ideas that decide what it says/does.
