When arguing on 4chan you cannot leave the slightest gap in your argument. Leave nothing to be inferred and don't assume that something you'd expect to be common knowledge will be. Someone out there will spot the tiniest flaw and ridicule you for it. Even if you have constructed a bullet proof argument you still can't win because you will just be called an autist for taking the time to write up the post. Then the thread will 404 eventually. I don't even bother to do it anymore when I see someone say something that I know is wrong. It's just too tiresome. It's not worth it.
