except now I'm getting brain surgery and might be able to

so I'll either die on the table or die in a car

I don't understand why you are all so scared of driving. It's so easy. I watched a movie on my phone for an hour long drive on the highway a few days ago. Literally just hold the wheel straight.
>>
>>34991546
I've been practicing and once I work on parking I plan to take my test. But I think I spent so long watching people drive me around that driving itself sends me into a white knuckled anxiety attack as I drive.

I also have to keep practicing with suvs and vans. If I was in a car it might be easier.

Most of the roads here are narrow and twisted, with many people driving well above the speed limit. I'm also really dumb, I can't take in information at a glance.
>>
I don't understand, why don't you idiots want to be able to drive? I'm not a normie who rushed at the chance to get a license at 16, but I got it before my 18th birthday. If your parents will let you use their car why the hell would you not want to be able to drive anywhere you want?
>>
why are you americans so obsessed with cars and shit? where i live most people my age (20) dont have a driving license. public transport does a good job here, and i think it also implies to the rest of Europe. do you really need that money-sucking machine? or is it a status thing?
>>
>>34991946
What kind of shitty 3rd world country to you live in? Most kids get their license when their 16 here, can get a permit when you're 15.
>>
>>34991865
where is there for us to go?

the only reason for me to get a license is for the novelty of it.
>>
>>34990952
Been driving since 16. Get your shit together.

I freeze up on roundabouts

people don't indicate on time or at all and when its busy, I sometime stall at the intersection

other drivers don't care that you are in first gear and I tense up shifting into 2nd when some impatient ass clown is 2 inches up your butt becuase I don't want to stall again and them crash right into the back and some poor guy hitting me from the side
>>
protip: your parents want you to drive them around and go get groceries, basically, they want to turn you into an errand boy

that's literally the only reason they give a shit, mark my words.

He asked if it was a status symbol, I told him no, most kids get it at 16. Learn 2 reading comprehension retard. Also, America is clearly the best country.

Trump is your papa now. Trump is all our papas now. We are a generation facing a different kind of neglect than those grown up in the inner cities. We had fathers, but they were always at work and never taught us what it meant to be a man. We never went hungry, but providing for us is all our parents really did. They relied on the failing public school system to teach us how to be a good person and a good man. Nobody ever taught us how to be our selves, nobody ever taught us to believe in ourselves, nobody ever taught us how to be a man and win, until now. Trump is the father of the forgotten generation in America.

I'm 30 and don't drive

I saved up at 18 for lessons after my parents said they would double my savings for lessons

got told to pay for it my self after months of saving, they started lying saying I need insurance first wouldn't tell me where to go or what to do to get the provisional, I believed this until 20s

couldn't really do it on a part-time job and college, they started getting nasty with me at 19 so I left home

could afford to at 23 cost me 600 for lessons, 100 for the theory test since I failed the video portion 50 for provisional licences so 750 in-total, failed final test on one maneuver.

I just stopped after that, I looked up insurance (mandatory in the uk)and it would have cost 2k-4k anyway since I didn't start driving on anyone else to get my premiums down so was a huge risk

I am 30 without a drivers liscense or job for longer then a month, I will fight your father. Tell him to meet me somewehere.
>>
>>34992202

the ones with traffic lights half way around are fucking stupid, I thought the whole point in a roundabout was to stop that
>>
>>34991987
Is it the same where ever you live? Just make sure to give way to the right and when it's clear just go, keep practicing and it just becomes second nature
>>
>>34992052
Uncle Pence can show you the way, anon.
>>
>>34991946
I think its a size difference. Here in the UK, everything is just a bus journey/train away, so noone NEEDS to get a liscensde, it just helps. In america stuff is so spaced out with such massive gaps betwqeen towns that public transport is more expensive and less direct that they have to.

>because you're driving on the highway everywhere

except the exam takes place in the city full of honorary niggers, police included, who make your day into a nightmare
>the supreme honorary nigger driving instructor isn't any help either
>he fixes the car's trajectory even if it's only 0.5% not 100% in the middle of the lane (at this point i think he did it to piss me off even more)
>keeps shouting "GO GO GO OMG GO ALREADY" when giving priority at a sign
>step on it and the supreme honorary manlet nigger floors the stop pedal, facepalms, prays to god and shakes his head
>tells me to ignore some signs because no police is around and we're slowing the traffic down
>practice all my driving classes while only half respecting the law and being shouted at by a manlet proto turk-gypsy
>on exam day i'm supposed to fully respect the law while not having any experience in it

I tried when I was 19 but stopped.
Recently started again at 25, feels way easier this time around. Just have to feel relaxed and not care if you stall or something.

I used to do that constantly and never got why people were alarmed by that. I was never not watching a movie, texting, playing phone games.
>Never had an accident.
>Quit my 12mg a day xanax habit that started when I was 17 and a pretty skittish driver(a trait I assumed I had grown out of through experience driving not obscene amounts of benzos)

>>
>>34993375

I'm glad you changed your ways, anon. There's enough shitty drivers out there as it is, we don't need any more.
