When you're depressed beyond belief it's really hard to get into hobbies.

i like to have fun
Pyer Moss, Fall 2016 MW 2
I don't like this sort of 'urban' fashion creeping into the industry at large. I don't even mean to be racist or anything but it looks so off when forced into a high fashion concept. Like, the whole point is the coolness factor in just piecing together stuff you wouldn't normally put into an outfit. Oversized jackets, ill-fitting pants.
Comme des Garcons and Thom Browne still manage to pull off some interesting concepts and themes. Also really like the s/s 16 line aka the xcom thin man show.

The only two that are even remotely wearable in public.
I love them and need to have them.
My problem with fashion shows is that the clothes are always something no person would ever wear in their day-to-day life. It's not like you are going to buy these clothes at a store and then go to work wearing them. They are just this weird thing that is kind of different, but completely removed from reality. Often times I feel like they are just different for the sake of being different.

follow any model on ig, none of them wear the stuff they wear on the runway in real life
that's not the point

aka art

There are definitely different types of shows - some people are making stuff to wear in everyday life, some are playing with concepts which will help define future 'wearable' looks but which are clearly designed as bespoke art pieces rather than everyday fashion.
For example, the attached (Comme des Garcons Fall 2016 RTW).

Its rare to see fashion on r9k. Some people have the impression that its a normie hobby but I think its not. Normies usually dress pretty poorly.
