anyways, he's holding some sort of event for his idea, should I go there since I've got nothing to do
>>34957255

>>34957255
Same thing happened to me once, when I got to his place he had some guy there trying to talk me into joining a pyramid game, but hey, you can always check it out.
>>34957255
Let's be honest OP, if his idea was really that good, he wouldn't begging his friends for money
>>34957697
he didn't, he said he has some event in a hotel and invited to check it out, he said it's about investment
>>34957646
haha did that really happen or do you watch too much tv?
>>34957712
Sounds sketchy. Go to the bank or whatever if you want to invest money

KEK. Don't fall for that bullshit dude. It's a pyramid scheme or some other scam. If he tries to make you invest in something, just stand up, walk away and delete/stop talking to him.
>>34958607
it is a pyramid scheme, he told me. I know I'm not gonna invest but maybe it's worth checking out anyways. btw you can make legit money with pyramid schemes, my grandmother was selling avon as a sidehustle her whole life
>>34957255
>since I've got nothing to do
This is the best reason to do anything, my guy.

>>34957712
>he has some event in a hotel
It's a pyramid scheme. Like that's how they always start lol.
>>34957255
You should go even though it is a scam. He probably feel for someone else's scam and isn't going to make amt money either. If it looks like he is being scammed, be polite about your suspicion i.e. make sure it sounds like you are not suspicious of him.
It could also be that he just got his series seven licence, is now a legit investment advisor with a known investment firm, and is reaching out to everyone he knows in order to try to find customers. If so, politely decline when asked to invest and invest through Wealthfront or Vanguard instead.

If he wants your money , at least force him to give you a blowjob
