The funny thing with your image is, that you believe that the can fly up there and take a picture of the whole earth. In theory they could but that would cost money. Even pictures from the moon don't show the whole globe because of the lightsource. Same reason with why we don't see the moon full all the time.
What you have there are many images 'stitched' together with photoshop. For this reason you can see that the clouds moved between taking the pictures (also the satelite taking the pictures moved too). Under the purple circles there are also clouds that are 'copy pasted' if you want to say it like this.
