Shitshitshit I screwed up my interview. Help me /r9k/, I feel dead inside
Any anons have over-confidence as their achilles heel?

>over-confidence
yeah I dont think thats a major problem for people frequenting this subreddit
>>34932132
Tell us, OP, what did you do?
>>34932144
Basically they give their approval with their signature. So with the signature, it means you basically got the position.
Q:" On a scale of 1-10, how well do you want this position?"
A:"10" <confident smile>
Over confidence kicks in
I add: "On a scale of one to 10, how willing are you to give me that signature? ;)"
Why the hell did I say that
They probably avoided giving me the signature just because I said that. Even if I got it, I'll be too embarrassed to accept

Nice. Well, at least you're confident, which makes means you'd have an easier time than most people on this board. Better luck next time. //
>>34932209
Haha, your story is even better if it was a girl interviewing you.
>>34932132
No, but I like to embarrass myself.
>>34932342
Same here. Weird huh?
>>34932322
One of them was. Is that better or worse?
>>34932279
Thanks anon. I feel really beat up though. I say the stupidest things when I'm nervous.
How do you guys stop yourself from running your mouth off in social situations?
>>34932503
it gives me the most magical boners
>>34932142
But is shyness really all that bad?
>>34932594
Great! We can be boner-brothers. Those that are lonely together, can bone together!
>>34932543
Saying stupid things when you are nervous is your problem, not over confidence. You see that, right? Someone who was over confident wouldn't be whining about fucking up an interview because they said some gay shot when they were nervous.

When I realized whenever I said things I got in trouble
Fuck I've blocked out most of first grade from my memories except the fact I would get into trouble everyday and not know why
>>34932630
Maybe, but I was feeling pretty confident when I said that. It only hit me how stupid it was an hour after
