I didn't give up on my religion. I'd never been religious in the first place. And it's not even the urges really. I really loved hanging with these girls. But I couldn't bring myself to start a relationship with them because I'm not even remotely sexually attracted to them. It would feel like a sham. But it's not the sexual attraction itself that bothers me. I want to fall in love with a guy and everything that he is. I felt like I had that with those girls, but minus the sexual attraction. Which is why it put such a toll on me. If they were guys I would have dated every single one of them. But they aren't.
