The manager and I run the store. I'm the assistant manager and we're both men. We get paid slightly more, because we run the store. 10 hours a day, 6 days a week I am running the store. I do literally everything and am responsible for its operation. There are about a dozen part-time employees on the store side and they're all women. I can't express to you how lazy and useless they are. I can give them 1 task, ONE task to complete during their shift and they will lie and say they'll do it before NOT FUCKING DOING IT. Their only use is slowly and inaccurately running the cash register for brief periods between long stretches of standing in the back playing with their phones and gossiping. I'm constantly having to go and help them while also doing a million other things. Most days, I don't even get to take a break because it's always interrupted.

Maybe, but not where I grew up. I grew up in Florida and women's feet were naked 24/7. Always in sandals or barefoot and when wearing shoes they'd be low cut shoes with no socks.

Always remember that it could be worse. Firing someone doesn't guarantee a competent replacement by any means. Most of our applicants aren't suited to this work. It's very demanding. Terminating someone in reality, could just mean longer hours for everyone who's still there. At the very least, people usually show up for work, are sober, and don't actively harm the store.
