Does anybody else wish they were born in a different time? getting married, having a nice car, paying for a house and slaving at a job for 40 years isn't the life for me yet I feel forced into it.
I want to explore the world, raid and pillage and drink mead with my brothers in arms. Sail the seas and not have to worry about papers or passports. Maybe live my life out in a cabin trapping animals and just sitting there, thinking by the fire all night. Sure it was harder back then but so were the people, being a pirate usually ended pretty badly but for the two to three years you really lived it out.
Modern life just sucks..

>born too early to explore the galaxy
>bore too late to explore the world
no this time period is pretty good if you're not poor

I am neither rich nor poor, but what I can get from life doesn't interest me unless I have enough to simply have fun all day doing and building stuff. Unless the near impossible happens I will just die a wagecuck

literally what you are wishing is that you were born rich or something. if you were born a peasant in 1100 AD or whatever you're imagining, your life would undoubtedly be way worse than it is now. you can easily go live in a cabin today or become a sailor, you just choose not to.
you're not imagining what it would actually be like to be a sailor with almost zero technology, or live in a cabin without modern medicine or heating. it would suck.
but if your dad owned a boat and you could work on it and not have to clean toilets, or if you just didn't have to worry about money, then your dream might be a bit better.

Modern life is grrrrrreat. u can b a hiki
>living in a cabin alone in medieval times
>just sitting there
Good luck with that. You'll have to slave away to survive more than you do now and some local lord might notice you and start taxing for "protection".
