Doesnt make me cry, but brings out strong emotions in me
Come on /r9k/, make me cry.
Most of the tear-jerkers for me seem to come from David Lynch movies.

The second one because when I hear it I'm transported back to when I was 14. Awake at 3am, school in 5 hours. Listening to it on my shitty mp3 player with 50 songs. Thinking of the girl I was obsessed with and thinking things will change tomorrow. I'll go into pschool and be confident, start talking to people. But nah, never happened, got bullied more, avoided people. She's got a kid now. Found out she liked me as well years later. I guess I had big hopes back then that things would change when I got older, but they're slowly getting worse, the hope is gone. When I hear this song I'm back in that kids mind and it makes me cry how delusional he was.

I'm pretty sure most robots can relate to this.
I wish I could have fun like a normal person does, play silly pranks and games and laugh with everybody.
We'd have fun together and I wouldn't feel lonely and have to cry by myself.
I wish somebody could appreciate me.

I guess it's just the time that I played Bioshock 2 that made the song so powerful to me. The thought of having a daughter who you'd do anything to protect was so far from a guy like me who never even had a girlfriend. Still haven't.

Song always feels sad but it reminds me of my Dad which always makes me cry.

This song never fails to squeeze a tear out of me.

My parents always used to play Simon and Garfunkel albums in the car when I was around 10 and under, even though they were just a bit young to have been fans as kids. I always liked the soothing harmonies but I remember this song would always make me feel sad and wistful.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=MzCLLHscMOw
This one always chokes me up at the chorus. The lyrics accurately described how it felt when my only girlfriend that I loved so much more than I thought was possible left me for almost no reason. The song was new at that time and I heard it on most every Hits station.

I know how you feel, the agony of nostalgia is that it provides a contrast to how things were compared to how things are, and how far things have fallen down.

My high school band played this song when I was a senior. I always get emotional because when our director was conducting us during our last concert that year and we played it, he started crying while conducting us.
>>34890360
can see why
>>34889716
I didn't have time to listen to them all individually so I played them all at once and it's probably the creepiest thing I've ever heard.
I mean holy shit it genuinely scares me.

Plus he ended up leaving the school to be a musical coordinator for a local church at the end of the year so it was the last piece he ever conducted.

Loved this song since the day I heard it.
