I don't know about you, but I enjoy browsing through posts and boards. It's his fault for getting baited and feeling like he's wasting his time. Want to dicuss Pokemon stuff with like minded people? Go on /vp/ for example. During all the time I've been on /vp/, I've never gotten into a serious argument with someone or felt the need to angrily respond. But I've saved a ton of awesome pictures, browsed through civil discussion or traded with people. Don't care about certain threads and want to find the ones you like? Use the catalog. Want to get political info that you most likely won't see anywhere else? Go on /pol/. Want to discuss paranormal shit? Go on /x/. It's easy and there are a lot of people to discuss with. Of course, if you spend your day arguing with random strangers on /a/ or /v/ it's only natural that you're going to end up feeling miserable.
