the single lifestyle is actually more stable that a partnered life in which your SO's problems are merely added to yours
if loneliness and yearning are driving you mad, try the waifu/tulpa strategy. it isn't exactly a perfect replacement, but it will occupy that part of your mind enough to continue the drudgery that is the rest of your existence
