There's no advice to give because there's no real advice outside of just do your thing. It's mostly luck you find anyone at all. It sucks but unless you reincarnate as a girl you're flying blind.

Given I've only had emotionally/financially abusive relationships beforehand, this one is nice. Been about a year and a half and things are going well. No voice/visual so of course I keep in mind that it's 50/50 possibly a ruse but there is the good question of why have it go on for that long.

I think I'm putting it on some strain since I complain a lot about my shit job. If I were getting paid more then there'd be no issues to speak of outside of her shit classes.

Best I can say is to just get into whatever hobbies you have. It's nice to nerd out with someone.
