I'm making microwave spaghetti as we speak, top tier pasta. Cooking it yourself is also pretty simple and really nice

That is why you eat potatoes instead of silly Italian food. Potatoes will make you feel full for hours. Potatoes have many nutrients. Potatoes are very cheap. Potatoes are easy and long to store. Potatoes taste very good with herring, which is also cheap and nutritious. Potatoes are much better than pasta!

here is my game plan

pan, nice and hot
add water
2 tablespoons of salt and stir to dissolve
add in ~150 gs of pasta
add more water until about cm from top
put pan lid on and thermometer through hole
do something else like microwave beans or put bread in toaster
when temperature is ~75 celsius I stir, switch off stove and leave it
when I come back 20 minutes later I have pasta and whatever else I made

carbonara has eggs, bacon(pancetta) and cheese in one plate, it's pretty damn filling
