I haven't hung out with anyone besides my parents and roommate in the past 3 weeks..
Starting to feel like my parents are my only friends (I live apart from them but only 20 minutes away so I see them pretty often)

Making friends is not rocket science
Step 1: Be likeable person / not obnoxious
Step 2: Find a hobby / activity you like and meet people who share that hobby / activity
Step 3: Treat them with the same respect you would like to be treated
Step 4: After meeting a few times (4-5) you can ask their number to hang out outside hobby (some people don't make many friends so they don't have to scim on their time with existing friends, don't take it personally if they don't want to hang out)
Step 5: Have fun with your friends

Don't let few fails keep you down, eventually you'll meet people who share your interests, hell i made a lifetime friend while playing a turn based game online with them, just be likeable / not obnoxious, if you're obnoxious then blame your parents for not raising you right and change your ways

Warning don't be a needy person, they will start noticing if you keep bombarding them with messages 24/7 and most people don't want that kind of attention from any friend
