Inclined to agree with this gentleman, reality is just a completely different number. Heard this guy on the radio some time ago, he told me about his psychosis. Apparantely he genuinely believed he worked as some sort of diplomat (he was unemployed in reality), he spent the day reading miles and miles of news about national relations and the state of the world, somehow believing he took part in meetings etc., told people lots of details about world leaders, diplomatic profiles, knew lots of personal stuff. It's hard to sum it all up, the guy told this story in an hour long airring, but eventually some people close to him pulled the trigger and the cops and psych people came to pick him up, he fought them for his life and ended up getting a sedative kek, then a couple weeks of medication and he was back to "normal".
