The internet used to be fun. Why is everyone online so angry

When have people on the internet ever not been angry dickheads?

I'm not sure why you think this, how old were you then and what sites did you visit? I can't remember a time without there being anger and I've been on it since the 90s.

Wow, "these days?"

If anything, it's nicer due to people's names being attached to everything, and the need for acceptance causing people to censor and control themselves in just about every community. Except in very rare cases, such as 4chan, everybody's too much of a pansy to go against the grain on anything these days. Everywhere is unbearably politically correct, and nobody's genuine or honest about anything.
