I go to the movies alone, it's not a big deal. Also go to cafes alone, sipping coffee and observing people while listening to music on the phone is weirdly enough very satisfying.
No one will pay attention to you and you're slowly getting more used to being around people, it's great practice. It's always bad the first times, stick with it and it will be ok.. eventually, you'll get used it, and you will enjoy it.
