Actually my country has a different problem with minimum wage. As minimum wage has been increasing at a faster pace than the salaries, it results in more and more people having a job paid the minimum wage.

There's no incentive for the workers if most jobs are paid the same. I work at a warehouse and the guys using the forklift and doing the hard parts (unloading trucks, etc.) are paid 10 cents more for an hour. Is it worth it when you could be sitting at a desk in the warehouse and type things on a computer for 10 less cents an hour instead of breaking your back?
I recently talked with an indian employee who regretted coming here because he would now "make more" in India (relatively to the low cost of living in India, of course).

It has become so bad a situation that the average salary is 2200 euros a month whereas the median salary is 1700 euros. It also leads to people with good diploma fleeing the country but this one is probably true for most countries.

I'm talking about the fact that due to a larger minimum wage people would be more willing to spend money, thus companies would just increase their prices. Same would happen if the minimum wage would decrease even further, prices would sink.

You must live in a rich country, otherwise you are not familiar with what a minimum wage means.
I live in a country which is fucked up. There are no jobs. So due to supply-demand, there is an oversupply of workers and so salaries go down.
Now ecause Germany and China wiped out our industry, 90% of the jobs are small business (<20 employees).
Such business offer the minimum wage because the government forces them to pay monstruous taxes per each hired worker. I'm talking about 15-20%. They will be taxed again over net gains with another 30%.
The result is that officially they are paying the minimum wage, but as they have so many potential candidates, they extraoficially make the employees to do unpaid overtime, and if you refuse you are fired.
Increasing minimum wage would only increase exploitation and irregularities, with more and more employers paying in undeclared money and demanding overtime.
What has to be done is either:

a) reduce taxes
b) helicopter money

yeah the only people against raising the minimum wage are corporate cucks

For small business a higher minimum wage means hiring less workers, exploiting them and possibly shutting down the business. As there are less workers and the ones who have a job work longer hours, there is less spending.
Not only business shutting down but new potential business wont be started.

If the govt want its citicens to have more money available it has to provide it, instead of extorting business.

I could just as easily say that companies will invest in R&D with all the increased demand they're getting and lower prices via new tech and expect you to take my word for it.

A lot of wagies I know are very self-centered and have a sort of crab in the bucket mentality. When minimum wage increased 50 cents this year, they complained that new people were making more instead of asking for a similar raise. They'd rather decrease the value of others than increase their own value

Yep, same problem here in France. Why be a scientist or a teacher if you're going to be paid as much as the guy pushing a broom? The brain drain is real, and would be even worse if we weren't abysmal at speaking English. High minimum wage also means employers are very careful recruiting; 3 out of 4 job offers are private, and you will never see a "help wanted" sign like you can spot literally everywhere in America. You want a job? Better have a college degree and know someone who knows someone, or to the unemployment office with you.
