I don't have anything left but can't bring myself to an hero. Never had any friends, both my parents are dead, and I have a half brother somewhere in Florida who I haven't spoek to since I was 12. Nobody will look for me or miss me (aside from collections agents) so I'm planning on driving as far as my car can go, and then ditching it and trekking into the Idaho wilderness while walking to canada/living off the land. here's my only problem

>never held a gun or learned to fish
>never slept outdoors
but I am /fit/ so let's just say I have $500 and the clothes on my back, give me a quick rundown on what I need to survive by myself, and any books I can read while out in-da-woods. At the end of the month I will be leaving, regardless of how prepared I am so please help me anons. I promise to write a journal about my travels/experience if I ever make it back lads.
Anyone here also thinking about becoming full /innawoods/ and becoming a mountain man?

Look up videos on YouTube, and read about survival. Also you probably should buy some good survival gear such as, a nice back back, jacket, knifes. You will most likely not survive considering you have no experience at all.

I would say this is a bad idea. If you manage to find yourself food and water you're still going to be bored out of your fucking mind. Freezing in the dark and rain because you have no idea how to build a shelter.
I guess watch some primitive technology on YouTube. That'll only go so far if youve never even built a fire.
