I actually worked with a guy who scored a 33 but he was a 420blazeit and skipped classes so much that he finished highschool with like a 1.5 GPA and he keeps saying no college will even look at his applications.

Worse part is that he's 24. His hs GPA still haunts him 6 years after he graduated

I got denied by Cal Poly of all places as an engineering student. 2200 SAT, 32 ACT, 3.91 GPA. I go to Georiga Tech instead now which is certainly a much better school for ME.

Don't feel bad, a lot of the time it's just quotas. Especially true if you're a white male in a major with a lot of competition.

Yeah. A lot of schools, especially in the Midwest, are only worrying about the ACT. This doesn't bother most of the the top students, because we're all gunning for those Northeastern schools, but it's really affected the plebs and the middle class.

Huh, no shit. When I was in high school seven years ago (fuck me that's hard to digest), students were told to take the SAT but the ACT was hardly ever mentioned and viewed as more of a "you can take it but it's not important" sort of thing.
