Well we have a few printers where I work. We have your basic makerbots and a few other cheapo units laying around and then we runt a Uprint unit and a Projet4500. We've been looking into a few newer units as the Projet really isn't great for our applications. We've looked at a few carbon based printers but those seem unfit for our applications again. We've been looking at a Carbon3D m1 but we're still not settled. We have a primary focus on art pieces and rapid prototypes at our lab so we don't really need a lot of the benefits that some printers offer (heat resistant materials, carbon infused etc etc) and we instead are focusing on print detail and the ability to print abstract forms like long bridged gaps and such. I don't have many images of stuff I've made unfortunately and I don't wanna share the ones I have on here, sorry!
