Street art is a really cool medium. It's like urban folk art, and what it's evolving toward is amazing the way it really beautifies cold, impersonal commercial spaces.

I'm a musician, currently studying music at uni. Very aware of the limits of such a degree, but this is basically 3 years of indulging what I love.

Insomnia

One of us, in the feelings we trust
Is it self motivation or self masturbation?
Better your life or bust

You can combat what ales you with medication-
Cocktail of missed opportunities
Take a chemical vacation

Bells chime when I sleep but still I can't wake
My mind is my friend
But his loyalty's fake

It was a really fun show, no doubt. Don is a fun character to play.
And that's just how Beckett is. I get the feeling that very few people truly get it besides Beckett himself, so really all we can do is try to get it right.

>powerful but unskilled hero and flesh it out by pitting her against people who know their power better.
Thanks anon, that's kind of what I was going for, she's powerful but regularly gets her shit kicked in beause she has no idea how to use it or how to coordinate with luke they get better at working together as it goes and there's some romance hints with her dad teasing her in this one but they're both harem mc levels of dense so they don't notice it

Good idea. Watching kind of oblivious people get smarter and stronger over time can be really satisfying to the writer and the reader.

I play primarily guitar, but i have a basic understanding in piano, harmonica and kantele. I also know quite a bit of theory too

For the past 4 months I've Been actively writing music, lyrics, melodies, and once I was So close to completing a Bowie-Jazz-influenced classic rock Song, until I read through the lyrics, melody and harmony, that I had written down, and suddenly I got So angry I tear the sheet into pieces and threw it away, because I Just didnt feel satisfied with the Song.

I have that problem often, I simply cannot feel satisfaction with anything I do or accomplish. Once I had written, and recorded a spanish classical-influenced humor Song in My high school's music Project course, and since it was saved on the music class' ipads, some normies listened to it, and I could hear them call it "fucking tryhard", and called me a loser. When teacher played itbto whole class along with other Project, mostly shitty covers of popular pop songs of that time, Even though teacher Gave an A for it, I cringe through the whole Song. Even when My parents complemented me for it, I still felt Bad that they had to complement me just because I was their son. Pretty much the same thing Is going on with that Bowie-jazz Song I was working on. I still have the sheet saved on My PC, So I might continue with it. I can Post the lyrics, If anyone's interested. Please give Me constructive criticism, pls no bully

I draw and make music, im also trying to get into animation

I want to make my own westernized anime someday. Probably inspired by the art styles of akira and cowboy bebop.

I tend to draw really abstract and loosely so I feel like i may be able to make something cool. I also want to make the soundtrack to my own film

Harmonicas are comfy, wish I could play ambient blues/western harp backing tracks for games or films etc
>>
>>34775459
It makes me wonder if it's still possible to get what it all means, or even if it's worth it since it's original intention was probably at it's peak relevance in the time it was written. I think you really just have to adapt it to the times you're in

Van Gough did the same with almost all of his pieces and he ended up ripping off his ear and killing himself before he got any recognition.

Have confidence anon.

I would watch something in that vein, do you have a concept?
>>34775685
That's just how it goes for Beckett I think. When I was working on getting ready to put on Godot I asked myself all the time if I even understood the point of the thing. People will give it their own meanings.

>Cowboy Bepop
Thats some top quality anime right there. Just finished it for the first Time, and if there was one thing I loved more than the characters, World or setting, was the jazz/blues/country soundtrack. I wish More anime like that would Be made. If youre serious about your Project, please do it, if not for anyone then Just for me, Anon. If I ever manage to get proper recording gear, i'd record a soundtrack just like in Bepop for it

Yeah, If High school had taught me anything, it was that I hate normies More than I Even realize
Here's the lyrics. For anyone wondering, the lyrics are inspired by the Cowboy Bebop episode "Jupiter Jazz, Part 1", with some minor changed
Mr saxophone
Mr saxophone, play a song for Me
The world is awfully silent now
Mr saxophone, sing for Me please
This empty space would need some company
And at Times
I would too

Mr saxophone, why do you Look So bleak
Yet your sax sings like a Bird
Mr saxophone do you play or cry
Is there a someone whom your song seeks
I think So
That there Is

Yes there Is good Fellow
And she's not here as she used to Be
Yes there was good fellow
But she was here to leave

Now she's not here anymore
She's somewhere not like anything we know
Might as well just let My saxophone sing
Sing Julia Sing

Mr saxophone
Mr saxophone
Mr saxophone can you hear me
Mr saxophone I can see your melody
Mr saxophone can you hear me
I am here and your sax no longer sings

1 get a special 20 diatonic key of C ($50) or at least a $20 one

2 avoid trying to blow FULL FORCE into it

3 practice making shapes with your mouth on it tongue etc, and vary them in patterns

4 use your tongue on the harmonica

5 practice quick left-right stuff if you get good enough you can go left-right-left rapidly while varying breath to have multiple parts

6 an remembr 2 always hav fun!! :)

really good harmonica playing will resemble eating pussy or at least the type of pussy eating that'd get someone off
