was nofap not a meme after all? or is it the porn doing it? I can't even tell anymore.
I'm assuming it's mainly a placebo, but I don't know. I haven't tried it.

Like afterbirth? Ew.
The only effect from nofap I've seen is increased desire to fap.

That's the extra energy they are talking about.
The first time I tried nofap I had a semi-permanent erection by day 3. By day 4 I was considering fucking other guys if it meant that I could calm my dick down.
Never really got the same "fuck anything that moves" high on my later nofap attempts.
Nofap alone won't give you an energy boost.
Yes, no fap is the key ingredient to being your best self, tapping into boundless health and happiness, and activating your wizard powers. Stop jacking off.
It takes me longer to recover, but after two weeks or so of nofap the two most obvious effects are that I'm able to drift off to sleep more easily, and i'm able to wake up without feeling exhausted. It's dopamine, it plays a major role in regulating sleep.

for me waiting a few days in between orgasms makes them more powerful, so that's what I do.

Placebo means something that has no physiological effect but still has psychological effects that sometimes even render physiological benefits.
Every benefit people report on nofap I've seen so far could be explained psychologically, so to say it's a placebo, i.e "all in your head" or "psychological" is just retarded.
This isn't the first time I've read this. Is the meme real?
