Slice of life, particularly heavily Moe stuff has a sort of hollow saccharine quality to it that I find intensely repulsive.

I like 1980's and 1990's anime, modern character designs are too Shounenized and the sameface has only gotten worse over the years.

Give me danger and adventure, intense violence and drama.
