You can settle or go to a city, farmland, mountain, or bayside
Lots of seafood
Lots of museums if you're bored
Fishing
Either blizzards, a bit of snow, or no snow.
It isn't too hot in summer

Cons:
People can be retarded on the streets (At least where I live, on the east coast)
Spoiled 13 year olds.
Old people who never open the door when you knock on it.
