Our attitudes on life are a SYMPTOM, not a CAUSE. I never started out my pubescence thinking negatively about women; every failure I had with them was soley because of my height, lack of subjective attractiveness, etc. These rejections, in turn, formed my current worldview and fuel my defeatist attitude. The old adage "once bitten, twice shy" comes into play here; I don't play the victim, I WAS the victim.

It is a different story with women and gay men because most guys will fuck on demand; as a result, the only straight guys who get laid often without being in relationships are the top 5ish percent, because a 10/10 guy will usually be willing to fuck a 6/10 girl. This is about the most accurate statement I have heard on the subject. I am about a 7 and my girlfriend in high school was about a 5 and has only gotten fatter probably about 200ish and short falling to a 3-4. She has sexual flings with very successful people and very attractive people with a sexual partners count in the hundreds though she can't find any stable relationship despite constantly trying but she constantly is able to have sex with attractive people so she refuses to stop being lazy and lose weight. I have had around 15 sexual partners in a serial monogamous fashion with some one night stands with fat girls. I am particularly successful but not the most attractive guy in the world, good lucking by almost all accounts, and in less I sleep with really drunk girls or fat/ugly girls I can not score. I have been rejected hundreds of times as I am a charismatic person extremely popular amongst men. Monagomous relations with 5-6s are really my best option despite trying very hard and a few of them have ended it because they wanted to fuck 10s while they are young and attractive.

The other side of the coin is I have a friend who was recently defensive end at the 1 ranked college football program and he is a big dude and he is about as good looking as me and smart.
