>tfw every homely nerd girl I've met is a raging sarcastic feminist who likes cats
back to waifus, I guess
I'm a homely nerd girl who isn't a feminist. But I do like my cats. I'm thinking about getting a different pet in the future though. Maybe a chinchilla or a rabbit
You got to learn to play the game. The USA teamed up with Stalin not because they liked Stalin, but because they wanted to defeat the Nazis.
You just have to learn to be indifferent to these things you don't like in order to accomplish a greater goal.

kiss the boot of shiny shiny leather
A few weeks ago I played Magic The Gathering against a really old lady (her DCI number was four digits if that tells you anything). She was wearing D4 earrings and a Dr. Who scarf. Normally merch junk like that screams "haha nerdy lol" and puts me off, but this lady was so dang nice. After the match she went and talked to her husband who was also playing. I couldn't help but feel jealous of him.

>old people playing MtG
There was a guy at my local store who looks like fucking Gandalf ans has apparently been going there pretty much every week since it opened for MtG events.
It makes me think like "this dude would have been like 45 when MtG came out, why is he playing childrens card games?"
