Well to be fair Anon I've never been inside another person's body so I have nothing to compare with. The problem is that I can breath through my nose if I breath very gently and lightly, but if I put any effort into it, say during a hot period, the walls of my nostrils are so thin and weak that they clamp down, preventing air flow. Growing up I'd obviously adjusted to this by switch to mouth breathing whenever my nostrils shut, and because nobody ever pointed anything out, I never noticed that I was different. I assumed everybody suffered during Summer and felt like they were suffocating sometimes.
