I've only ever been to one strip club, but I've been there several times. I don't know how similar it is to others, but I'd imagine it's roughly the same wherever you go.

* Most important thing to remember is it's essentially a bar, just with chicks dancing. Extremely loud music and pretty dark.
* The girls go topless on stage (some places are full nude) but otherwise walk around the place in their skimpy clothes
* The girls can and sometimes do sit next to/on you to chat you up. Sometimes they're fun to talk to and not in 100% money-sucking mode, but still remember that it's their job to get you to bring out the wallet.
* There's a "champagne room" in the back, and I've never been back there so I can't comment on what happens inside. It's a good chunk of money to take a girl back there for a lot longer than a lap dance. I doubt anything hardcore happens at most clubs, but, again, I can't say for sure.
* Lap dances are very hit or miss, but they're private and you can feel the girl up all you want within reason. This is the only thing I ever feel like going for because you can get her to grind on your dick til you cum. Be careful whom you pick, though; I've had a few dead fish and one who wouldn't even look at me, while a handful were extremely good.
