I'm currently using benzoyl peroxide (which doesn't seem to work) and the doc won't give me any harder medication because he said my acne is not that bad.

Yes actually I have for the past month almost entirely been cutting out dairy and also excessive amounts of sugar. So no coffee for example. I have also been taking probiotics and I definitely noticed a big difference.

Before I started this I was drinking hot chocolate with milk a lot for like a week and my skin was getting especially awful from that.

Since I have been cutting these problem foods my face is feeling a lot better. Not completely cleared but the difference is very noticeable anon.

There are tons of delicious dairy-free foods.

Try almond milk, soy milk, hemp milk...they're great.

Also there are many great dairy-free ice creams. Ben & Jerry's just released a new line of dairy free frozen desserts and they're fantastic (too expensive because they went with almond milk...soy milk would have made it a lot cheaper).

I have to say that cutting out dairy did NOT help my acne, though. It annihilated my constant stomachaches, heartburn, and ear infections though. So it was worth it.

25 years old, have had acne on face/shoulders/neck/back since age 14. I tried:
