I'd recommend you to look into self-help or therapy, you might ignore some issues that are stopping you from achieving your dreams.

Cognitive behavioral therapy worked for me, research shows it may not last over 3 years without getting back to it, but that's enough time to create an happy life and build momentum.

I'm gonna suggest you the book I personally used for CBT, it's been an enlightening read for me, don't obsess over it, just give it a read to know yourself better, you won't regret it.

The book is "Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy" by David D. Burns M.D.
