Worst of all is going out with your father, in your 20's, and hearing him saying "all ladies are looking at you, son".
Gets me every time, my dad is real bro, we're really close that I even see him as a friend, so I know he says these things only to cheer me up, but at the same time, the lies hurt a little, I wish they were true.

That is a flat out lie, isn't really a "you're really handsome, son", which would make sense, since maybe he ignores my defects and think I'm good looking. However that's not the case.

Again I don't wanna sound like I'm bitching about my father, I have a lot of respect for him anyway.
