How do I give myself nightmares?
I haven't had a nightmare in years and I want to have one for inspiration for writing.
Any advice?

I did this, once upon a time. You should consider it, OP.

How do I master lucid dream anon?
You have to temporarily upset an already healthy, dreaming mind.
If you can't recall many dreams as it is, you won't be able to recall a nightmare either way.
Start a dream journal. Stick to it for 3 weeks and THEN expose yourself to some really twisted shit at a point in the night where you start to lose the plot.
I know after I've been awake for about 16 hours I'll be laughing at dumb shit in no time. That would be the time to play a horror game or watch something tailored to unnerve people.
read somethig that infund you with despair.
but don't read lately or your mind will ignore it completely.
focus and give yourself lot of emotional pain.
sad music or bad music could also help.
Chinese water torture also helps.

Several different ways, all of them requiring some form of long-term dedication. I wouldn't be able to exlain it all in one post, so google these keywords alongside 'lucid dreaming':
MILD
WILD
WBTB
DILD
SSILD
These all refer to various methods of dream induction. MILD is the only one that has been detailed in academic papers (to my knowledge), WILD will probably get you results the most direct, but it takes quite a bit of patience and skill to master.
