Yes I did over the course of about 4 years

Unfortunately the catalyst event was something that was out of my control. I got paired with a minor chad for a university project. He started inviting me to parties and practically forcing me to go, like at first I would make excuses and he would just keep asking me for more and more details until it was obvious I was lying, then I would go to the party.

Eventually I developed enough social skills to the point where I have a white collar job, my own inner city apartment, a small circle of close friends and a qtgf

Life's not perfect. I still drink too much, I'm often bored because I have no real hobbies, I'm still slightly overweight but I'm close to my goal and I live at the very edge of my means. But, I'm getting better every year and unless something goes horribly wrong I think I'm gonna make it.

Not OP, but IME, therapy only seems to help people who are already fairly normal. Sometimes people are too deficient, or they've just missed the boat in too many ways. As someone who is currently going to therapy, I honestly wouldn't recommend it. The appointments are literally 20 minutes long and there's nothing to discuss since my problems can't be changed or improved.
