I was on a flight earlier and I saw a guy from my region and he had a white girlfriend (we are Jews).

Naturally I was intrigued. Both of them were shorter than me.

I'm ~160cm (5'2).

I also had girls who liked me in the past but being a legit aspie I fucked it up. Most recently a literal genius was into me, but I was going through a shitty period of laziness and when she saw how messed up I was I think she was put off.

I was of course also rejected because I was short.

But the point is, some girls don't care about height. You might eventually come across one.

Not in my experience. I had girls fall for me instead of my friends who are all very tall (180+cm, 5'11+).

Some girls truly don't care about height. Also when it comes to short girls, not everyone is into dating a guy who is 1 whole foot taller.

Take every opportunity to hang out with people. I started by going to every event organised by my faculty's student society. Then just socialise with people and eventually you get introduced to girls. Then it's simply a matter of time spend with them and eventually if there's something, things will happen. If not you're still building a social circle that will lead to something.

What I learned early on was to keep my mood at home. Just try to smile or at least not show your depressed state of mind while you're hanging out with friends. Nobody likes moody people. A couple of beers really helps with that.

I think that was the pivotal moment when girls started warming up to me.

Also don't try to act as somebody you are not. Girls will see right through that. Just be yourself and it's surprising that some girls will like you the way you are. Like, I'm just a nerd who likes to play board games and is super clumsy at any kind of sport. I made a fool of myself at any sport activity but the girl who was into me didn't mind. She just laughed and enjoyed my company. She even tried to learn chess to play against me.

No clue. Never figured it out completely. The fool proof method is to just ask one of their friends. This works great cause if they are not, the rejection is less painful for both parties.
