You can tell when a sinkhole is opening slowly. Check for cracks on the walls near the floor, check the doors, if a door had no problem closing and suddenly is uneven and gets stuck when you close it, it's a sign that there could be a sinkhole opening below you. Cracks on the floor are also a sign of this
