Parents put the family computer in my room when i was a kid, and me being the horny kid i was searched for porn all day. Eventually i was looking for hentai and came across /h/, and that was my go to porn site. After going on 4chan so many times and seeing the homeboard eventually i clicked on boards that interested me and got addicted.

Sometimes I think of a choice of never having used to this website, it feels like a nobrainer but I seriously think the very significant amount of time I've spent here has more or less shaped me to be the person I am. If it weren't for this place I'd be someone radically different and I'm not sure if I'm okay with that.

I've been here since I was 13, back in mid 2004 (judging by the news posts, probably some time around May).

At the time, I felt like a king, having access to so much porn on the nsfw boards, without having to resort to piggybacking off someone's dad's porn subscription or braving virus-laden sites full of nothing but thumbnails, redirects and 4 frame gif loops. Now I just feel empty.

We really are here forever.

I've been coming here since i was 13 i couldn't post till i was 18 because of anxiety and paranoia that i would somehow be found or as underaged and banned. This site and /v/ in particular has weirdly made me more tolerant and open to different opinions and views.

Some days, I just don't know why I'm going on anymore.

I fucked up too much at uni, cost me my scholarship, this is my last semester, since I can't afford to borrow 6.5k a semester.

Currently making plans to finish my license so I can drive, also looking at entry level jobs in my area, since that's all I have left.

Might try for an apprenticeship at this old guy's repair shop, he'll fix pretty much anything on the planet, and I've never seen another employee in there. It might be a long shot, but if I make it, I feel like it'd be a good thing.

But then, this kind of stuff happens, at first, I was really depressed in this post, then I started planning out what I am going to do after I drop uni, and it like, just, up and went away. I feel like I have a reason to go on, even though the only reason I'm still awake tonight is because I couldn't sleep because I was so depressed, and couldn't stop thinking about everything I've ever fucked up.
