>It's a redditor thinks the world is going to nuke each other and sensationalizes everything episode
>>34600739
Is that happening on reddit right now?
>>34600773
ever since Trump got elected.
I don't like him but people do need to calm the fuck down a bit, he hasn't even actually done that much yet honestly other than the immigration thing which people from these countries were already getting additional screening under Obama so he just took it to the next level.
It's probably unnecessary and maybe not the best idea but it aint the end of the world or "the most racist thing ever!!!!".
>>34600773
Every thread that features the word "Russia", "Putin" and "Trump"
>>34600739
>going on reddit at all
You have to go back.
>have one (1) IRL friend, been friends since 4th grade (we're 24)
>he introduced me to 4chan
>lost contact with him for the past ~3 years
>started talking to him again
>he's a redditor now
>>34600864
As you get older 4chan gets a lot less relatable
>>34600739
so, the samen thing as thise site? dont know why people still think there's any difference between the two sites.
>>34600999
I find the people on this website a lot more realistic in the sense they actually make a lot more sense in what could and or can actually happen.
WHen you go to le leddit (my friend linked me a news article from there), the entire comment section is
>Ha we're so fucked
>Haha better arm up boys ww3 is going down
>can't wait till the nuclear holocaust happens because of le cheeto feurer
>i feel bad for the survivors of this
etc etc
All this petty bullshit when in reality nothing has happened
>>34600948
>As you get older 4chan gets a lot less relatable
Is it? It's just as relatable to me as ever and I'm certainly not of the same mindset as I was 10 years ago
>>34600948
I've found the opposite. Reddit reminds me a lot of GaiaOnline way back in the day, it's all about fake internet social status and echoboxes. 4chan lets me comiserate with unrestricted, non-friendly opinions.
It also doesnt mean my comments become invisible for calling somebody a faggot.
Do people not realize that trump can't launch nukes on his own, he needs the authorization of multiple chiefs of staff
Basically, it will never happen
>>34601626
The uninformed think that nukes can be launched with the simple press of a shiny red button hidden in the Oval office
They don't understand that you have to jump through a lot of hoops in the government to get anything done
This country was founded on checks and balances but it seems most of the population forgot about it
>>34601081
4chan is an echo chamber, we just can't downvote your opinion, but most people here all share similar beliefs and you will be chastised and meme'd on if you don't feel the same way the majority does.
>>34601686
a) It's not because it inherently can't be
b) You will be chastised and meme'd on even if you do feel the same way the majority does.
>be moderate/centrist
>have mostly libfag friends, because I can't stand christfags
>they hate on me for having "assault weapons"
>Trump gets elected
>now they ask me how to get guns
>redditor left-leaning friend is consistently telling me "we gotta make some ARs bro" now that Trump won
>I have a lot of the resources to do this and he knows it
>he won't offer his hot older sister to me as dowry though
>mfw
>>34601697
Whatever you say man. I think you're delusional if you don't believe that 4chan is home to circlejerkers who hate everyone that might disagree with them.
>>34601834
Not the genius* you're replying to, but I think you're just mad because we get away with it easier than reddit does since redditors will actually look up your entire posting history and use it to find out where you work and who you date and who your parents are if you DARE to go against the didactic liberal status quo
>example: Ken Bone
>>34601834
Yeah, but they can't downvote you here, all they can do is call you names.
And there's no persistence of identity so they can't look at your history and people aren't encouraged to lie about their opinions for points
>>34601834
Circlejerking != Echo chamber
Every community holds majority opinion, but dissenters are still as visible as anybody else.
Reddit allows you to completely snuff them out.
>>34601759
>Not just shooting him and taking what is rightfully yours.
If he doesn't consider you worthy of becoming part of his family, is he truly your friend?
>>34601934
I don't think first degree gets you a lady
>>34600864
>have high school best friend
>mild browsing of 4chan back in 08, but didn't get it
>9 years later
>I've come to and realized my "friend" is a lazy sack of shit who is self centered and takes advantage of people's generosity
>I'm here and he's on reddit
Why does people showing their true nature fucking suck?
>>34601934
>>34601964
Their stepdad is law enforcement and she's a literal 10/10 (yes, literally)
I'm pretty sure the only time I'd get away with that is after reddit's Great Civil War 2.0 starts
>>34600948
I mean, I don't particularly agree. I think it helps that there are a lot of others on here actively aging with me, rather than people "aging past" 4chan, paving the way for strictly younger users.
Granted, it definitely skews younger than I'd like in a lot of cases (holy fuck are their high school problems fucking stupid), but this is the only place, in my estimation, that you can get people's genuine thoughts, rather than the PC, sanitized version that they show to the rest of the world. I appreciate it for that.
>>34602364
Haven't yo heard? All the old 4 chan users left. First it was animeposters en boards then they got shot on by people who came because the raids then those people got pushed out by people who came because of reddit and da news. In a few years e alt right types will get kicked out by kids who came here from some virtual reality app.
>>34602364
I genuinely think you're all dumbasses.
