They're becoming mandatory on forms now. Every time I tell somebody I don't have one, they get all huffy like I am intentionally being difficult, and end up telling me I have to put some digits onto the form or it won't go through. It's very unpleasant and discourages me from speaking to others.

I use a phone to browse the internet at and when traveling to college.

Wow, it must be really blissful to be still stuck in 1998. I bet you're still terrified that computers are going to rule the world in the near future as well. That said, I mostly use my phone just to browse 4chan and Reddit, even when I'm at home. The mobile sites are far better than their desktop sites tbqh, and i can brouse with one hand as well, which can come in handy.

I use my phone as router so it's instrumental for my well-being as a human. Been months since I've used it for anything else than that but having the possibility for that is a nice bonus.

How long do you people spend on the toilet where you can spend any measurable amount of time browsing the internet?

Because my parents pay for it. Last month my phone broke and I said I'd be fine with a flip phone to replace it since I barely call or text, but I got the s7. Not gonna lie, smartphones are great and I really like it but as soon as i become financially independent i'm gonna have a flip phone/ipod touch combo.
