That's how I feel about cars. You may be changing the battery and discover that the altnerator is broken. And you maybe changing the alternator, and realize the wiring is old and burnt out. And then you maybe wiring the car about and disocover 10 other things.
Each thing you do makes the car better (or worse but you learn from that), but a fact about machinery is that there will nearly always be something to improve or fix, and things that you fixed in the past need to be maintained and sometimes fixed again. But if you don't try to fix it, you can't drive your car.
