>You will never relive the Internet Flash era
Old Internet culture really was something special. If only we knew what we had back then.

Kek, thanks for reminding me of this site. Reminded me of this flash I saw when I was young: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/43235
>>34588330
ah the nostalgia. i remember playing these old flash games. my little brother was playing an app a while ago and i recognized it as a game i played a long time ago. (bloons)
>>34588330
i'm still visiting that site
because it's not dead. so much good memories with full autism
>tfw apps are little different from the games people used to code in flash for free for fun
>tfw we're finally dragging Flash out back and putting a bullet in its head
About goddamn time. Flash games were poor compensation for flash ads, whole flash-based websites, and security hole after security hole. The death of Flash is one of the few ways in which the web is unquestionably better than it was ten years ago.

probably around 2005 or 6, that's when newgrounds switched from shitty looking versions of south park done in ms paint, to some seriously impressive looking flash toons and the games started to follow. it's like one dude came out with a badass looking toon one day and then everyone was stepping up there game content stopped getting submitted for a few weeks and then every bodies animation improved a lot. seemed like it had taken on an entirely different feel. no more shitty ytmnd loops with a flashing gif unless all you did was browse ytmnd, stuff just got way way better quality. before it was that stuff and stickmen was super popular.
>>34589749
Yep. It's easy as hell to be tracked nowadays without a VPN.
God fucking damn it I hate sounding like an old fucking man but kids these days will never experience something as amazing as we did.
I just want to go back to 2005.
