Fast food is nice if you get free food and if they let you eat on the job. It's super shitty if you work the peak times, have lame managers and have shitty customers.

Dealership auto tech. Infiniti, and Im ASE master certified. I like working commission flag hours instead of hourly. Motivates me to work harder and my work feels more rewarding.

I love working on cars but I still have to deal with a lot of bullshit. I dream of a day when I can make a living doing something like the show roadkill. Crazy outlandish car modifications and roadtrips. I get to do cool stuff, like engine rebuilds, but I also end up doing a lot monotonous maintenance like batteries and oil changes on ancient neglected nip machines (truth be told I love Infinitis though).

Only bad news is that I have to be clocking in at 5:00 am mon-fri. Good news: easy job, decent coworkers, close to home, and don't have to deal with rush hour.

Low level management in a pretty large international corporation, local branch.

most days I work 3 hours out of 9 I am at the job. But some days, when shit hits the fan I work the entire day and stay after hours.

It's amazing how much you have to figure out on your own when entering the world of management, I was sure they were going to kick me out during one of my many fuck ups when I was starting, but somehow I powered through it.

My boss is awesome and we're going out to beers afterhours, so that might have something to do with shit working out.
I considered quitting several times during the first months due to the insane amount of stress in meeting deadlines, when a small mistake on your part could easily cost hundreds of thousands of $$.
But I am mostly over it.

I have no previous schooling or experience in this field of work but I'm really tall and intimidating so I guess that was good enough to hire me.

Honestly I'm lucky as fuck. I have absolutely zero work experience other than retailcucking and there was a huge number of people who applied for this job and yet I somehow memed my way in. Even funnier considering that I have literal and unironic diagnosed autism and the section I did best in at the assessment centre was the group activity.

The thing about the government is, it's really hard to get in but once you're in you basically have a guaranteed comfy job for life. The job I'm going to be doing isn't something I really want to do. But it doesn't matter, just have to do it for 10 months and get my classification and then I can move around in the government.

Honestly it's the smallest things in life. If I didn't have this job I would basically be NEET with zero job prospects. And yet now I'm basically set for life. I can't tell you how happy I am. I had depression before I got this job. But when I got the job the depression basically just dissipated.
