I didn't want to go this route, because it sounds preachy, but here goes.

I personally do not have cable, only have the internet or computer access 3 days out of the week (I currently have to bounce around between places, long pointless story), and only own a simple flip phone.

I go for runs, swim, do yoga, write, draw, build shit, sculpt (though not that much at the moment), play with my dogs, read, study. I would lose my fucking mind if I lived in the Netherlands with all that beautiful nature shit.

You could argue that the drawing, woodworking, and the sculpting require "material" items, but technically I could go out and get the required supplies myself from nature, though it'd be extremely time consuming (I've actually made my own paper and paint before). I've also attempted to sculpt with clay dug up from my back yard, but it was pretty shitty.

Reading is also materialistic if you include the book I guess. But still, there are other ways to spend time without being on a computer all day. I have a feeling none of this will matter to you though, and you'll continue getting high and benefiting solely from material items handed to you by your parents, all the while judging people for doing the same thing.

The licensing part isn't even long, can get done in less than 2 weeks and making okay-ish fulltime salaries. If you're lucky, you may get an employer to pay for your classes.
