I'm not a stalker but I live in a high rise and sometimes try to spy into neighboring apartments at night. I often catch people walking around naked or almost naked and even occasionally see them having sex

How much were the binoculars OP and are they worth it? I'd consider this, but also I think the night vision would kind of ruin it. A naked woman in night vision is just not sexy for some reason.

Instead of his usual response he just sent me a link to a song. Something was dangerously wrong. My stomach dropped and I told my coworker how this guy is going to kill me. Sure enough a few hours later

Although I couldn't fit it in the last post, as he got more creepy when we texted I tricked him into giving me his full name and I google searched him. I found out he's fucked in the head and ran a blog three years ago on a liberal website. One post was a rant about how the government is taking away our guns so they can invade us one day and we'll be defenseless. He also states how he hates background checks for guns and how it's none of the government's business who buys one. This shows that he's most likely pissed off that he's banned from purchasing one. He has a clean criminal record (I checked) so that means he's legally deemed mentally ill to be banned. I found his Facebook too and only since after the incident he started making his posts public...all sob stories on his "rough" life and suspicious posts of revenge. Stakeouts are stationary things. Waiting in one spot for 6 hours to confirm whether or not a person is at X place or waiting for 6 hours everyday to confirm that a person frequents X place at Y time is a stakeout.

Stalking builds on the info gathered from stakeouts. Following a person or keeping track of ALL of their movements as they go about their days is stalking.
