I used to be able to handle the banter fine, but now... I don't know what happened. I'm 24 and I've realized you can't even give kids an inch these days.

One of the last games I played, not even before the first round was over I have some kid on the mic flaming me asking me what im doing and that i need to kill myself and that I'm probably a virgin etc etc. I tell him to fuck off and he just starts ripping into me for the next 3 rounds. yeah I can mute him, but it just ruins the game if I can't hear his callouts

the worst part is the ganging up. its like they see you as a weak animal and they pounce. its exhausting.

its not even the content of what they are saying, just how frequently it happens.

I'm just over it. Its sad because I love games and gaming but online, so many ppl are just straight up assholes.
