I usually listen to fascist hymns and songs because they are so upbeat, optimistic and empowering and i can feel the confidence to work and do my stuff.
Funny thing is that i'm not even a true fascist. At best i'm Larping as one (despite genuinely loving the idea of everyone uniting under the same banner and do good stuff together)

It's kinda of a lonely feel because i can't publically state that i listen non-ironically to fascist and nationalist anthems.

Anyone knows this kinda of feel?

Btw, some of my fav tunes in this subject:

I like when it's just the bagpipes, the drums and tin whistle.
I prefer when things are simpler because they usually have more emotion attached to it

What do you think makes one a true fascist?
>>
>>34529177

If it's too minimalist it gets repetitive though. Most modern classical music gets repetitive very quickly. This variation isn't so bad in that regard.

I also like to listen to this:

Ennio Morricone has a lot of really good works.

Well, in my opinion i think that for one to be a true fascist you must be always thriving to become the best: both physically and intelectually. You must abide by the good morals (let's define good morals as being trust-worthy, hard-working, loyal, reliable, etc) and be always ready to help your community and country.

If fascism praises the brave, successful and rigtheous man, you should be one too or else you are a hypochrite.
Fat NEET's who consider themselves fascists are quite the paradox
>>
>>34529270

Technically speaking a fascist is just somebody who submits to a higher authority because they think that joining the ranks makes them part of something great. Essentially it's just the mentality of being irrationally subservient to some authority that they deem morally infallible and are fanatic about their loyalty to that authority.
>>
>>34529395
But what if said NEETs are striving to become better? Basically chiseling a great, beautiful statue out of rough, shitty rock.

I'd say that here is where the most potential for becoming a great fascist lies.
>>
>>34529395

You don't have anything in your post that couldn't also be applied to a communist or anarchist or just a modern day liberal capitalist.

Or do you think that these other people think of themselves as losers and wimps who are hurting their communities?

What you said has nothing to do with fascism as a movement. You didn't describe the dynamics of how such a movement works.
>>
>>34529410
Kinda... There was a thread on /pol/ with actual books and research on fascism. That board is usually a cringe\troll fest but there were some good documents there.
The reason that makes me doubt of fascism is that absolute sense of submission. On the other hand i like the idea of everyone under the same banner thriving together for what is right.

The problem is the leaders. Most fascist leaders were genuine retards
>>
>>34529457
Fascism has nationalism allied with it as well as economical isolationist policies such as the autarcy.
It was prooved that nowadays countries can't rely on autarcy unless they are willing to drastically loose their quality of life.

The difference of fascism and communism+anarchism is the following:

Fascism relies in a central figure: the "leader" wich has the whole power concentrated in himself and the people are assigned with pre-determined roles wich they must blindly fulfill.
It also has a culture of agressivness and traditionalism allied with it.

That's why i say that i don't consider myself a fascist. There's too much loose holes in this ideology. It must be fixed first

>>34529508

>On the other hand i like the idea of everyone under the same banner thriving together for what is right.

Yes that's what attracts the good guys to the movement.

Have you seen the movie, The Wave? It's a documentary about a teacher in middle school/high school (cannot remember) who created a fascist like cult following in his classroom as an exercise in how fascism arise. It was completely innocuous but the students still ended becoming very loyal.

And the outcasts in his class, the shy unpopular students became the most loyal and would rat on the more normie students.

Also I think one chief difference between fascism and other populist movements is that fascism is more about the authority for it's own sake than a goal. Like in say, socialism, the people are in theory just working towards one very specific goal. In fascism there isn't a well defined goal besides being the greatest at everything. The people's chief concern is to always support the authority.
>>
>>34529410
True fascism is economic by definition.
It is simply another structure of trade--mixed economy managed by a strong central authority for the good of all involved under perfect circumstances--like capitalism, socialism, syndicalism, mercantilism, etc.
WW2 and the early half of the 20th century gave it a bad name and association but I think fascist economies tend to do better economically. They're not plaugued by things like indecisiveness which is innate in democracy and they're certaintly more moral.
>>
>>34529701
Yes, i've heard about that movie.

Fascism strongly appeals to those who have good intentions but are lost and without direction. Fascism gives a purpose... In a sense, it's kinda like religion
>>
>>34529695
This problem could be mended if they--fascist systems--relied less on autocracy and more on technocracy via like minded people.

I think fascism is just cemented power + mixed economy - political dissent of the masses (you can't vote out a fascist regime or criticize them...you have to wait until they change course)

It can turn out terribly if the leader isn't fit for the job

I think I know what you mean. The best part of 'Cabaret' was the nazi song, desu

this isn't really upbeat or anything but I enjoy it

OP, do you listen to any other forms of fascist music, like martial industrial? (von thronstahl, arditi, triarii, legionarii, etc)

Sometimes yes.

It's funny how fascism hymns also reflect the culture of the country they belong to.
German hymns and songs usually have a more somber, suprematic and stern vibe attached to it while fascist hymns in other places like Spain for example have this "jovial", "upbeat" and "confident" feeling attached to it

That is also interesting, never thought about it like that

another song I love, the country my family is from

I suppose this is one of the upbeat types you speak of?
>>
>>34529958

I am anti-authoritarian. I am pro free speech. This wave of fascism fetish makes me sick.
>>
>>34530618
OP here.
I think it's because many years have passed since the fascist era and in this day, where "being progressive" has lost it's complete meaning, young people clinge to the old ways and since most stuff available about fascism nowadays is their propaganda (wich, you gotta admit is quite genial) and their powerful aesthetics and imagetic they even get more enticed to it as well as being considered "forbidden"...

It's like being a counter-culture like the hippies were in the 60's and the punks in the 70's etc
>>
>>34530610
That italian song really gives Italian vibes all over.
Even more upbeaty than the spanish ones

But it's nice
